I have spent my entire life in Franklin County, Kentucky, what I consider the heart of the Commonwealth and home to Frankfort, the state capital. Growing up in this community has shaped my values, work ethic, and appreciation for service and leadership.
While I was not always the strongest academic student in public school, I excelled in the areas of communication, leadership, and personal development. High school became the place where I discovered my strengths and began building experience through involvement in student organizations and leadership roles.
In FFA, I served as the Support Groups Committee Chairman, acting as a liaison between the student body and the alumni and supporters chapter. I also served as Vice President of my FFA chapter, where I assisted in leading the organization and overseeing committees and their chairmen. In addition, I was involved in several other career and technical student organizations, including FCCLA, where I served as Chapter First Vice President.
Outside of CTE organizations, I served as President of the Western Hills Young Republicans. In that role, I helped restart the organization and worked to promote civic engagement among students, staff, and members of the community.
I am a recent alumnus of Western Hills High School in Franklin County Schools, and I continue to carry forward the lessons, leadership experiences, and relationships I built there as I move into the next chapter of my journey.
